Background
Mrs. Lewis grew up in Uniontown, Pennsylvania where she graduated from Laurel Highlands High School in 1997. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Washington & Jefferson College in 2001. Mrs. Lewis received her Juris Doctor from The University of Akron School of Law in 2004. While attending The University of Akron, Mrs. Lewis was a member of the National Champion 2003 National Champion NITA Tournament of Champions Trial Team. She was also a member of the TYL Trial Team that won the regional championship in Lexington, Kentucky and was a quarter-finalist at the national competition in Austin, Texas.
Memberships
Mrs. Lewis is a member of the Akron Bar Association and the Ohio Bar Association. Mrs. Lewis is admitted to practice in the State of Ohio and is a member of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, Eastern Division and the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. She is also a member of the Kappa Alpha Theta Fraternity and currently serves the national organization as the Director of Risk Management for District II which includes all of Ohio and Western Pennsylvania.
