Background
Originally from Brooklyn, New York, Mr. Curtin grew up in Livingston, New Jersey. He received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Georgetown University in 1980. At Georgetown, Mr. Curtin majored in finance and was inducted into the National Finance Honor Society. He then attended law school at Case Western Reserve University where he earned his Juris Doctor in 1983. While at CWRU, Mr. Curtin was a Dean Dunmoore Moot Court Finalist and selected for the National Moot Court Team.
Memberships
Mr. Curtin is a member of the Defense Research Institute, the Ohio Association of Civil Trial Attorneys, the Ohio State Bar Association, the Cleveland Bar Association and the Akron Bar Association. He is admitted to practice in the State of Ohio, the United States District for the Northern District of Ohio and the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
Experience
Mr. Curtin has tried over 100 jury trials to a conclusion, argued in the Ohio Appellate Districts, Ohio Supreme Court and the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. His practice includes tort and business litigation, insurance coverage analysis and special investigative unit work.
Community Involvement
Mr. Curtin regularly volunteers his time to coach various youth sports teams and often sponsors community youth teams
